Abstract:
Geospatial as well as geometric-morphological data, but also integrated information, play an increasingly key role in the management of the existing built heritage, from the territorial to the city scale.
In a context of transition towards ever greater digitalisation in the management of territorial transformation processes, which involves scholars and researchers engaged in the definition and verification of the most suitable integrated digital tools, public administration plays a decisive role, particularly in contexts characterised by greater fragility such as the urban environment.
The present work, developed as part of a collaboration between the University research center and the administrator of the national railway network, describes some results of the application of integrated three-dimensional survey technologies, terrestrial laser scanner, drone and photogrammetric, to the digital documentation of railway infrastructures in an urban environment in order to define an information system to support decision-making processes in the phases of simulations of earth-moving scenarios, time management, management of construction equipment, assessment of practicability and in-progress verifications.
